Serplulimab with chemotherapy for adjuvant and neoadjuvant treatment of previously untreated gastric cancer

Serplulimab with chemotherapy is currently in development for the neoadjuvant and adjuvant treatment of previously untreated gastric cancer. Gastric (or stomach) cancer occurs when abnormal cells in the stomach start to grow and divide in an uncontrolled way. Gastric cancer is associated with poor outcomes and despite surgery to remove the cancer, the risk of recurrence is high. There remains an unmet need for new and effective treatment options that target the proteins that are expressed in gastric cancer to improve health outcomes.
