Sacituzumab tirumotecan for previously treated endometrial cancer

Sacituzumab tirumotecan is being developed to treat endometrial (womb or uterine) cancer in patients who have previously received platinum-based chemotherapy or immunotherapy. Endometrial cancer is the presence of cancer cells in the lining of the womb (endometrium). The cause of endometrial cancer in most women remains unknown. Patients whose cancer comes back are usually treated again with chemotherapy, but this treatment often does not work very well. Currently, there are limited treatment options available for these patients. Because of this, new treatments are needed that could help patients live longer and improve their chances of survival.
