Fianlimab-cemiplimab for previously untreated unresectable advanced or metastatic melanoma or adjuvant therapy for treating resected melanoma

Fianlimab-cemiplimab is being developed to treat melanoma (a type of skin cancer) that has grown beyond its original location (advanced) or has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) and has not been previously treated. It is also being studied as a treatment for melanoma following surgery. Surgery is the main treatment, however, sometimes the cancer cannot be removed or might be at risk of returning, therefore additional (adjuvant) treatment is given. New combination treatments without harmful side effects are needed.
