Emerging Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) in Genomics

This horizon scan identified a wide range of genomic Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) in development, though relatively few were at later stages of development and/or yet able to be classified as being ‘true POCTs’ based on level of automation, capability of processing complex biological samples, and operability by a non-specialist.

This horizon scan gives an overview of the overview of the development pipeline of POCTs to identify variation(s) in the genome and epigenome that enable the use of genetic information to inform diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment decisions in any clinical area.
