Introducing the RIPPLES framework for patient and public involvement

Join us on Wednesday 26 March 2025 at 14:00 for a free online engagement session to present our newly developed framework for patient and public involvement (PPI) in rapid evidence syntheses.

This event will showcase the outcomes of collaborative efforts, including a survey, scoping review and stakeholder workshops, to create a practical tool researchers can use to help them involve patients and the public in rapid evidence syntheses.

The session is an opportunity to:

• Learn about how we designed the framework;
• Learn about the principles behind the framework and how it can be used;
• Engage with researchers and PPI contributors who played a pivotal role in its development;
• Ask questions and discuss how the framework can be implemented in rapid evidence syntheses.

This event is ideal for researchers, policymakers, clinicians, PPI professionals, and members of the public with an interest in evidence synthesis and inclusive research practices.

We will also be accompanied by Nifty Fox, who will be live scribing the event.
