Light activated chemotherapy for treatment of early stage mouth cancers

LightOx have developed new light activated drug compounds and a targeted treatment for early stage and pre-cancerous lesions. They are currently completing pre-clinical testing.

Earlier this year, LightOx took part in the Innovation Observatory’s Industry Sprint which saw a group of national Health and Life Science businesses undertake various sessions with our team over the course of a week. We guided them through how to use our data and resources to aid a detailed market assessment, competitive market & gap analysis and by bringing in funding experts from the wider ecosystem they were able to utilise this evidence in their grant applications and investor pitches. 

The reports that LightOx produced contained in-depth competitor information and funds of interest from the UK to Europe to worldwide.

LightOx have since been working on their investment and funding pitches, incorporating the information they gained from using Innovation Observatory’s resources.
